Google launches specialized search for blogs

Dwight Silverman blogged Blogs show up as results in standard Google searches, but so do a lot of other things. In the past, if you wanted to search just the blogosphere, you used tools such as Technorati, Daypop, or Icerocket.

Now Google's offering a specialized search. Google Blog Search works like Feedster, searching blogs that have an RSS or Atom feed.

This looks like a very useful service. Thanks Dwight, and thanks Google.
