Rampage behind the wheel

StarTribune reported As Arie Ford went inside to gather her two children from her Minneapolis home Wednesday morning, a man stole her idling car. A few blocks away, he repeatedly rammed that car into a cab driven by her brother and injured a well-known 79-year-old North Side clothes store owner. Within minutes, the man was at the intersection of N. 7th Street and Plymouth Avenue, bouncing off cars and between buildings, stealing a van and then crashing that, too, police said. The five minutes of chaos ended when a group captured the man and held him down until police arrived.... When asked by investigators why he went on the crime spree, the 22-year-old suspect said, "Allah made me do it," according to a source with knowledge of the case.

This explains a lot. I have never heard of a Christian doing anything like this and saying God made me do it, but I have certainly heard people saying "the devil made me do it." We have been trying to understand Muslims thinking Allah was God. It looks like Allah might not be God, he might be Satan.

Well, it seems like you obviously have not heard of the Wacko lady who is Christian who drowned her kids one by one and said that she heard voices that God made her do it.

The point is, even if one Christian, Jew, Muslim, etc did stupid or criminal acts and said God made them do it, it does not mean it represents the actual faith.
People's actions should be differentiated in letting it represent all people of one particular faith or religion.

Actually I did hear of her, and she was tried in court and convicted. There was some problem in the testamony so she got a new trial and I have not hear the result of it.

But she could not point to any verses in the Bible that told her to do what the voices told her.

The Muslims can and do point to many different verses in the Qur'an that tell them to do exactly what they are doing, such as Surah 9:29 which says Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. and from The Book of Jihad and Expedition (Kitab Al-Jihad wa'l-Siyar) we see 19:4294 Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war .... If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them.
