Transgression against God’s law

The Columbus Dispatch reported The gay-rights group Equality Ohio called on Republican gubernatorial candidate J. Kenneth Blackwell yesterday to apologize for and retract his statement that homosexuality is a "transgression against God’s law" that can be cured.

It is certainly a transgression against God's law. Would they prefer that he had said that it could not be cured? Are they afraid that gays will seek a cure?
Danny Carlton blogged Isn't it interesting how so many homosexuals go out of their way to offend others with lewd displays, yet demand apologies when someone simply states their opinion. Apparently, these people believe only they, and those that agree with them have the right to voice their ideas. Of course the article also exposes an ulterior motive behind their "demands".
