Ghost Town

Independent reported New Orleans will have to be abandoned for at least nine months, and many of its people will remain homeless for up to two years, the US government believes.

I believe it should be a ghost town for 900 years. They should tear down the levee, rather than trying to repair it, and allow silt from the Mississippi to cover up the reminents of a city that has had to be abandoned, and then turn the area into a huge landfill for a New New Orleans built near by, but on land that is ABOVE SEA LEVEL.

It is not right to try to fight Mother Nature, by trying to maintain a city that is below the level of a river on one side, and a lake on the other side, and a gulf rapidly getting closer on the third side.
