Now what? Ann Althouse blogged I went to bed last night thinking there's no way Barack Obama should pick Hillary Clinton as his running mate. — But I woke up this morning, turned on the TV news to see a rerun of her speech from last night and thought: He must pick her!
The left wing pundits were convinced. Maureen Dowd whines She’s Still Here! Noam Scheiber screams That Outrageous, Delusional Clinton Speech. Matthew Yglesias blogged I probably shouldn't write any more about this woman and her staff. Suffice it to say that I've found her behavior over the past couple of months to be utterly unconscionable and this speech is no different. I think if I were to try to express how I really feel about the people who've been enabling her behavior, I'd say something deeply unwise.
Roger Simon observes Obama's first test: Handling Hillary and Adam Nagourney worries Next on Agenda Is Clinton’s Role. Jackie Calmes talks about Clinton's Road to Second Place.
My personal opinion is that the only reason Hillary is taking about wanting the Vice Presidency is she hopes something will come up between now and August to change the minds of enough Super Delegates to force a change between numbers one and two.

I think Hillary knows her place and won't fuss too much, however, one can never tell what may happen over the course of the next few months.
