Yahoo! News US President George W. Bush seized on a foiled London airline bomb plot to hammer unnamed critics he accused of having all but forgotten the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Maybe he is just trying to remind everyone of the threat that IslamoTerrorists present. Bush is faced with Democrats who want to force us to withdraw our forces from Iraq, so that it will become a training ground for these barbarians, but they don't worry about that if it will get them back in power, even if it means they eventually become Dhimmis. And he is also trying to get the attention of the cowardly French who are so worried about the Muslims they have given French Citizenship to, that they are pressing for a totally stupid solution in Lebanon. And he is trying to get the attention of the British, where 81 % of their Muslims consider themselves Muslims first, while only 7% considerthemselves British firstWeighed down by the unpopular war in Iraq, Bush and his aides have tried to shift the national political debate from that conflict to the broader and more popular global war on terrorism ahead of November 7 congressional elections.

Israel made peace with Egypt and Jordan, and has not had problems with them since then.
They withdrew from Lebanon in 2000 and from Gaza last year, and in both cases was rewarded with kidnapped soldiers and rockets fired into Israeli cities.
If Lebanon can get control of Hezbollah, they would find that Israel would be a very good neighbor, and if the Palestinians were willing to accept something like the deal Arafat turned down, they would also find Israel willing to live in peace with its neighbors.
But with Iran threatening to destroy Israel as soon as it gets an atomic bomb, and with the Palestinians and Hezbollah not happy as long as Israel continues to exist, there will not be peace in the Middle East.
