Slashdot reported Google has released Firefox search toolbar (Version 1.0.20050923) after two months in beta. One interesting addition is Google Suggest, which guesses what you're typing and offers useful suggestions in real time.
Unfortunately the new version does not seem compatible with Firefox 1.5 beta. There is a patch on this slashdot post that will supposedly let it work on 1.5, but I am not sure whether I am brave enough to try it.

Thanks for the tip-- I'm using Firefox 1.5 beta, and I was able to get it to work (so far).
