In Britian Telegraph Gordon Brown has thrown his weight behind a move to allow hospitals to take organs from dead patients without explicit consent.
And with the other problems in Britian's universal health care system, they should have even more "donors."The proposals would mean consent for organ donation after death would be automatically presumed, unless individuals had opted out of the national register or family members objected.
And with the complaints here in the US about the pain involved with our leathal injection form of execution, how amout putting condemned prisoners under anesthetic, and then just harvesting all of their organs. (Just kidding, of course)
