Anyway, why do they make such a point that a minister is gay or straight. I don't think they should put that much emphasis on that issue. Preference is preference. Of course Catholics do not agree, but most politicians are of a Protestant religion, and gays are accepted in these religions. Of course, you can't beat a dead horse. It was probably best not to know either way. Priests could never come out of the closet, but a minister can.
